Mike Miley is a teacher and writer who hails from Lafayette, LA, and is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans and the American Film Institute. After working in Los Angeles as a filmmaker and teacher, he returned to Louisiana to teach film studies and literature. 

When he's not teaching, Mike works on independent scholarship. His scholarship interests include cinema, David Foster Wallace, Valerie Martin, and paranoid cinema.
